A small number of twits arrived in Smalltown at the weekend after rumours circulated that a rare type of Tit had been seen in the area.
Tit-fans thronged the parks and Promenade as they searched for a sighting of the Lesser-spotted Teflon Tit and his mate, the Mistress Tit, who are rarely seen in public together.
“We are hoping to get a photograph of them holding hands, which is something they normally only do behind closed doors. We heard reports that they’d been seen in the Eastlawn Cemetery on Saturday, and we are now trying to track them down to pledge our allegiance to their cause.”
