Councillor Fencesitter ‘befuddled’

During the Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Council meeting held at the beginning of February, councillors cast their expert eyes over the list of town council owned assets. Pronouncing himself happy that the list was a true and accurate representation of everything owned by the council, Councillor Fencesitter proposed that the Asset Register and valuations be approved.

Later on the same day Cllr Fencesitter, stepped off his fence and became embroiled in a discussion on AceCrook regarding the condition of the Finger post signs in Smalltown, denying that SaDTC had any duty to have maintained and repaired them as “We don’t own them“.

This was in direct contrast to the Asset Register, which clearly shows ownership of the signs on page four.

A member of the new Smalltown and Dullbridge Independent Super Team (SADISTs) non-political political party pointed this out to Cllr Fencesitter who immediately climbed back up onto his fence and refused to come down again.
