PRUDE line up revealed

Smalltown and Dullbridge Pride – a Really Unique Diverse Event (PRUDE) has released the line up for the event which takes place in Smalltown’s Chateau Gardens tomorrow.

Kicking off the day at 12 noon will be Miss Porcupine who told SomersetCliveDon’t be deceived, I may look cute and cuddly, but I can assure you I’ve got a little prick or two hidden away”.

There’s poetry at half twelve, and we know how much SomersetClive readers love poetry, so least said soonest mended.

Make sure you’re back in time to catch local Fridgpond all-female group The Virgins, one of Smalltown’s Most Popular Person Cllr Jock McCads favourites.

Then it’s on with the music as Somerset’s own Ninety-Four Day Fortnight take to the stage. With a name inspired by the number of days Squire Teflon can spend drinking Albanian Whiskey, the band perform a variety of rocky indie covers and are sure to drag Smalltown into the 1990s.

Devonian queen Virginia Beech is coming along with her special brand of humour and will be followed on stage by Somerset farmer Cocky with his Wurzel/Eminem/Slipknot mash-ups.

Miss Apple Tart will bring big wigs and Sheila Bassey fashion sense – watch out for her Goldfinger – to Smalltown and she’s followed on stage by Tess Tickle giving the audience a double lashing of glitter and glam.

Six piece Mrs Hinch and the Hincherettes will be whipping the Crowd up into a frenzy as they demonstrate some of the latest cleaning tips, which are always popular with some members of the LGBTQWERTY community (particularly the G’s).

Finally, headlining the event will be Smalltown’s own Prude Awakening, fresh from gigging around Smalltown and Easton-under-Water in recent weeks.

Prude Awakening’s Liam Tellem said “We’ve gone through our extensive repertoire and selected the tunes which we think the LGBTQWERTY Crowd will really enjoy and will be able to shake their flags to.

No, I’m not telling you which tunes. You’ll have to come along to find out.”

The Crowd should remember to bring their rainbow wellies, rainbow anoraks and rainbow brollies.

With stalls, glitter and rainbow face paining, photo opportunities with Dictator Kelsey Dullard and Deputy Dictator ‘Cruella Sherry’, plus the Giant Game of Cluedo, it’s shaping up to be a great free fun day for all. Far more fun than sitting on wet grass in a field.
