As revealed by SomersetClive on Monday the new Smalltown Permanent Arts Manager (SPAM2) has taken over from the Top Secret Consultants’ recommended friend who has been acting as the Smalltown Provisional Arts Manager (SPAM1) at the White Elephant Enclosure.
Introducing SPAM2 to members of the Smalltown and Dullbridge White Elephant Enclosure Mismanagement Committee Deputy Dictator Cruella Sherry said “Good evening, boys and girls. I’d like you all to be in your best behaviour and to give our SPAM2 a warm welcome to the Hayloft Road Palace Retirement Home for Bemused and Bewildered BeFuddled Party ex-Teachers (and Others).
I hope you are all paying attention? Susie Cookbook has a lot of experience in running White Elephant Enclosures which are bigger and better than our own WEE and have far more comfortable seats.
We are pinning all our hopes on Susie and hope she can come up with some great ideas which haven’t already been tried – if there’s anything left that hasn’t been tried – to turn around the fortunes of the WEE, just as all the previous WEE managers have tried and failed to do.
In the interests of trying to spend as much Council Tax Payers money on the WEE as we try to prove we know what we are doing, we have also taken on a new Smalltown Culture and Arts Media Promotions Individual (SCAMPI). Like Susie, May Tricks has also worked in a theatre. Isn’t that incredible?”
