Eileen Mutton, the Smalltown and Dullbridge Smalltown Administration Deputy (SADSAD) and council staff member who made the complaint against Cllr Jock McCads has revealed that she feels the punishment meted out to Cllr McCads, for his inappropriate comments regarding her appearance, has not gone far enough.
Instead Ms Mutton has suggested that Smalltown’s Most Popular Person (Dullbridge Public Enemy No.1), Jock McCads’ head be served to her on a platter by way of an apology for his behaviour.
In a statement released shortly after the verdict was revealed Ms Mutton said “I think the All-New-Yet-Unimproved Somerset Cuonty Council Standards Board came to the right conclusion and found him guilty he should be ashamed of himself and should no longer be allowed to be a councillor. His party should now remove him!”
Following a deathly silence from the local BeFuddled Party Ms Mutton has now doubled-down on her stance, again indicating that she feels the All-New-Yet-Unimproved Somerset Cuonty Council Standards Board did not go far enough when deciding a suitable punishment for Cllr McCads.
Ms Mutton said “I know that Smalltown and Dullbridge (SaD) Town Council has agreed to send Cllr McCads on a Special Course for Chauvinist Councillors, but I find it very disappointing that they can’t go any further. He should of been sacked
In the report released by Somerset it’s clear he talks to women with utter disrespect and even tried to coerce me to act and dress in a certain manner so he could get what he wanted how that isn’t malicious or intentional I don’t know!
Councillor Barracuda’s statement on the matter has been a a croc of ****. He’s trying to smooth over the wrong doings and make out Cllr McCads was a silly man instead he should of stood up for the employee and showed his support, he has failed me.
The councillors should all be ashamed of themselves not one has openly stood up and given a decent statement or voicing their support for me who endured this I am their employee and they have failed me because they are more concerned how their party will look! The councillors are now failing us as a community by showing they are weak and not prepared to make a difference, Shame on them! They should sack him.
I’ve been told the BeFuddleds will be considering their own punishment following Cllr McCads’ breach of the Code of Conduct I hope they will show they do not agree with his inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour by taking a firm approach and sacking him.
I would like to say thank you to the town councillors the public and especially my colleagues for their continued support throughout the process I’m not going to be happy until Cllr McCads is sacked.
Cllr McCads should be sacked for what he done to me.”
SomersetClive understands that the local BeFuddled Party is currently split in a three-way schism, with some members coming down on Ms Mutton’s side and agreeing that Cllr McCads should be sacked, whilst other members believe that banning Cllr McCads from meetings until he has completed his Special Course is punishment enough.
A third group are clinging valiantly to the fence and hoping this will all go away without their having to make a decision. A BeFuddled Party member told us “I’ve never seen the party in such disarray. Our fence is becoming unstable, due to members flipping from one side to the other. At this rate it’s going to collapse.
Cllr McCads could save our fence from splintering by making the decision for us and resigning.”
