September will see 18 nights of varied entertainment at the Playtheatre in Easton-under-Water, with a full programme of shows including tribute bands, real bands, dinosaurs and has-been comedian Tim Rabidson.
Lovers of high-brow entertainment can catch a screening of Madame Flutterby, live from the Regal Opera House, Scunthorpe at the Blitz Cinema, alongside all the latest blockbuster film releases.
Meanwhile, the White Elephant Enclosure will feature a mere two evenings of entertainment, it would have been three, but the tribute band has cancelled. Instead the only events scheduled to take place in September will be a screening of a live performance of a play and an evening with local singing postie Jimmy Dean.
Jimmy has hired the WEE for the evening, rather than his show being booked by either the Smalltown Culture and Arts Manager (SCAM) or the Smalltown Culture and Arts Marketing Manager for Economic Development (SCAMMED) and tickets are therefore available at a very reasonable (for the WEE) cost. Additionally, any profit will be donated to charity, rather than being used to subsidise a failing business.
