Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Councillor Banish Barracuda is struggling with his latest mission. Addressing his fellow Smalltown and Dullbridge (SaD) Town Councillors he confirmed that he has run into difficulties with the Council’s new “Get On a Bike” (GOB) policy.
“I’m trying to work on a sustainable green policy that links up cycle routes in Smalltown and Dullbridge, but I really need input from local cyclists and cycling groups.
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find any cyclists. “
Addressing the Illiberal Party members he continued “I understand that a previous Councillor, Town Mayor and member of your party has a keen interest in cycling and would be grateful if you could give me his name and address so that I can ask him for help.”
Squire Teflon nodded in reply but made no further comment.
SomersetClive has reached out to former SaD Mayor, ex-Councillor Pennyfarthing to ask if an approach had been made by Cllr Barracuda but we were unable to get a response as Cllr Pennyfarthing had ‘gone for a bike ride’.
