The next Smalltown and Dullbridge (SaD) Town Council Planning and Scheming staff meeting at The Hayloft Road Retirement Home for Bemused and Bewildered BeFuddled Party Ex-Teachers (and Others) will be chaired by the Cllr Rabbit as the usual chairman, Cllr Hayrick, will be absent.
Readers will recall that Cllr Rabbit secured the position of Vice-Chair despite Squire Teflon’s cunning plan to secure the role by voting for himself, after Cllr Julia Slurry nominated Teflon for the role due to his ‘vast experience’.
Councillors will be subjected to a presentation from developer EatUpThe Countryside Partners, who will be explaining exactly how they plan to cram 248 residential units into a small patch of land between the industrial estate and the motorway.
SaD Town Councillors previously objected to the plans on the grounds that Dullbridge was being over-developed but, at the Sadgebore District Council Planning Committee meeting, their concerns were completely ignored.
