Smalltown Radio, based in Smalltown’s George Street, launched their new-look station yesterday, with a new phone app thingy which will enable listeners to access the service more easily.
Playing all the popular songs from yesteryear, Smalltown Radio also supplies news from the local area provided via the SomersetClive Online Oratory Provider (SCOOP).
Smalltown Radio’s ‘shock-jock’, Keith Owls, explained the need for the relaunch “We had been experiencing some totally horrendous technical issues with our broadcasts. Issues which weren’t helped by those terrible blighters over at BitterLemon Radio, who have been trying to poach our loyal listeners by stealing our website address and passing it off as their own.
As well as the new app we have a new web address and I’m proud to say that we are now back up and running and offering the most scrumptious radio service to listeners in the local area.“
