Headmistress and Town Mayor, Kelsey Dullard, welcomed competitors in the Peachy Dick Trial to Smalltown on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the event said “The trial is a unique event which sees competitors from all over the country test their stamina, strength and endurance over a 940 mile course. We had all manner of entrants, from pre-war veterans, through kit-built to home-made and most of them got rather muddy along the way, so it was unlike your normal line-up of pristine, shiny examples!”
Kelsey Dullard said “I had a lovely time, greeting all the competitors and getting them to show me their equipment. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the attraction and being able to get up close and personal with the competitors and examine them in all their glory. Many of the entrants were worthy of the Peachy Dick title.”
