The final day of Titanium Jubilee celebrations in Smalltown and Dullbridge looks set to end with a bang as revellers prepare to gather in Chateau Gardens for the annual Party In Smalltown with Some Umbrellas Provided (PISSUP), this time with the word Jubilee involved.
Organised by Smalltown’s most popular person, Jock McCads, the event will see the usual mix of musical acts, beer, soggy picnic blankets and not enough toilets.
SomersetClive was granted a rare audience with Jock and he told us “The weather doesn’t look too good today, but that’s just part of the PISSUP tradition. Hopefully party goers won’t get too wet and won’t let anything reign on their parade.
PISSUPs are always popular in Smalltown and we know from past events that nothing dampens the spirit of those who turn up to enjoy the fun. After several pints of beer you won’t even notice the lashing rain, howling winds and thunder.”
