Mistress Bones has accused her fellow Smalltown Shops (SS) Very Very Important Person and Co-Leader, Lady Brassy of Easton-under-Water, of leaking stories to SomersetClive and thereby seeking to promote herself, rather than Mistress Bones.
Writing on her own AceCrook page, Mistress Bones dramatically revealed
“I’ve been looking into who has been leaking stories from the Smalltown Shops AceCrook page and it seems there is only one possible culprit. Someone has been copying my posts on the page, posting them on their own AceCrook page and passing them off as their own. That person is Lady Brassy of Easton-under-Water.”
The sensational claim saw Mistress Bones quickly dubbed ‘Shylock Bones’ in honour of her incredibly sleuthing abilities.
Mistress Bones continued “The recent post asking people to nominate an old lady to lead the Smalltown Shops’ Titanium Jubilee Parade is a case in point. Everyone knows that I wasn’t serious about seeking an old lady, as I was planning on giving the role to my mum, but now that Lady Brassy has shared the post for all to see I’ll be forced to read through a load of other nomination in order to make the selection seem fair. I may even end up having to give the job to Jan Popoff.”
Lady Brassy denied the accusations saying “This is another example of Mistress Bones not understanding how social media works. It’s not the first time she’s complained about me sharing shareable posts. On a previous occasion she claimed that I’d leaked a story about the Squire’s ‘chipolata’, but that was a post she’d made on her own page and her settings were ‘public’ so everyone could see it (not that I can imagine anyone would want to see the Squire’s ‘chipolata’).
She’s also accused me of tipping off photographers desperate to catch snaps of her and her close-friend, Squire Teflon, in flagrante. Again, I don’t believe this is something people would want to see, but if she’s so worried about it then why did they allow themselves to be spotted snogging when they were supposed to be canvassing?”
