The makers of the online game ‘Squirdle’ have once again been inundated with complaints after many failed to get the right answer yesterday, despite having four letters correct.
A reader told SomersetClive “I guessed four of the right letters near the start, but there were far too many options for the first letter.”
Some players said they wouldn’t be playing the game again after previous complaints centered around words that don’t exist.
SomersetClive contacted game maker Squire Teflon for comment and he told us “It’s definitely not my fault this time. As an act of appeasement I sub-contracted the game out to Ellen Proves and she provided yesterday’s grid.”
SomersetClive can reveal that the correct answer was ‘bully’.
