Smalltown & Dullbridge Town Council announces that the Smalltown Media & Uproar Genius (SMUG) has been dismissed.
Commenting Smalltown Head Administration Genius (SHAG) Tanya Summer said “I employed the SMUG to make the Council look good. She didn’t. So she went. Squire Teflon has an election to win in May. She wasn’t helping.”
It is noted that the SMUG is the eighth SaD Town Council employee to leave since Ms Summer took place three years ago.
In an exclusive interview with SomersetClive the former SMUG, Gilly Duty-Bound said “It was an impossible job. I was constantly required to make a silk purse from a pig’s ear. I couldn’t meet my main target of saving the Squire’s bacon on a daily basis. The next post holder needs a pay rise.”
After the unfortunate episode cost SaD Town Council £940 per week in wages, the Council Tax Payer once again pays the price for trying to keep the Squire in office.
