An eagle-eyed SomersetClive viewer has contacted us to say that he was “pretty certain” that he spotted Smalltown Missing Person, Tim Teepee, on Thursday night.
“I’m currently on my annual holiday to Morecambe. I was in my hotel, getting ready to go out for a fish and chip supper, and I had the television on.” Harold (Harry) Bottomly told us. “I was watching the local news. Popular newsreader, Bruce Forsyth, was out and about on the streets of Morecambe interviewing residents to find out their views on world matters and I’m absolutely certain I saw Tim Teepee cross the road behind him.”
“He was wearing a military-issue parka coat and he had the hood fully zippered up, so it was hard to be sure, but I’m pretty certain it was him.”
SomersetClive has contacted the producers of ‘Question Morecambe’ to ask for a Betamax copy of the programme but they hadn’t responded to our request by the time we went to press.
