With only days to go until the Mayor’s Christmas Party, rapper Plan B has cancelled his appearance at the Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Council bash.
Plan B, famous for five minutes about ten years ago, had agreed to provide the entertainment in a bid to restart his career – much like the various ex-contestants from ‘Celebrity X Pop Dancing Talent Brother’ who appear in Smalltown on a regular basis.
However, in a statement released this morning the rapper claimed ‘musical differences’ had led to the cancellation.
“Nobody told me it was, like, going to be a Masquerade Ball. They wanted me to, like, perform Viennese Waltzes and that’s just, like, not my bag.”
SomersetClive contacted Mayor Mark Facelift to see if any alternatives plans have been made yet, but he told us “Get off the phone. I’m waiting for a call from Elton Gone (the UK’s number one tribute performer). I’m hoping he’ll agree to a ‘two for the price of one’ arrangement with a performance at the White Elephant Enclosure thrown in.”
