As preparations heat up for Ignite Smalltown tomorrow, Smalltown Shops have confirmed that they are once again without a pig.
This follows a falling out between the two Pig Roast providers.
The Smalltown Chamber of Trade Pig Roast providers, Pigs’r’Us contacted their rival Pig Roast providers, Pigs4U, to tell them “We’ve had the concession for the pig roast at the SCOT event for years, and this town ain’t pig enough for the both of us.”
Pigs4U, providing the roast on behalf of the SS, responded “We didn’t know you were going to be there, we were contacted out of the blue by a Ms. Bones, on behalf of the SS, who assured us that there definitely wasn’t another pig roast provider and that we would be the sole pig roast concessionaire.”
Pigs’r’Us further responded “If you turn up we will set fire to your pig.”, which led Pigs4U to cancel.
The SS are looking for another pig roast provider to fill the gap, but this may prove tricky given the late notice.
