The draft minutes of the recent Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Council meeting have prematurely announced that Town Mayor, Mark Facelift, recently attended an event to mark the Queen’s Ascension Day.
Unfortunately it was actually ‘Accession Day’ i.e. the day which saw her become Queen following the death of her Father, King George VI, and not the day she rose to heaven.
