At the White Elephant Enclosure

Tonight sees yet another attempt by the Smalltown Culture and Arts Manager (SCAM) to bring highbrow culture to Smalltown, with a screening of a live performance beamed direct from a more important theatre somewhere else in the country.

‘Squiggly Lines Crazy’ stars Raffish Pines in a fiery tale of the most powerful man in Smalltown, a master manipulator whose legacy changed the town forever.

For forty uninterrupted years, Squire Moses Teflon exploited those in office through a mix of charm and intimidation. Claiming to be motivated by a determination to improve the lives of Smalltown’s residents, he creates ice-rinks, elephant enclosures and 924 miles of golden paving.

Faced with resistance by protest groups campaigning for a very different idea of what the town should become, the strength of democracy be finally exposed when he loses his position as ‘Most popular person in Smalltown’ to the unassuming Governor Jock McSmith.

So far six tickets have been sold, which shows the strength of feeling in Smalltown towards the SCAM’s series of ideas to rejuvenate the fortunes of the White Elephant Enclosure.
