In the latest illiberal mystery, attention turns to why Dullbridge Sadgebore Councillor, Al Devalues, is standing for election in Smalltown Posh for Smalltown & Dullbridge (SaD) Town Council. Devalues current SaD Town seat is Smalltown Haven, which was won comfortably over a Farmhouse-Kitchener, last time around.
Devalues was lucky to be elected to Sadgebore Council having won his seat by just one vote. A review of media mogul Mike Maxwell’s S-a-D.com shows that if there was an award for the fewest reported contributions to Council meetings, Devalues would be a leading contender.
Whatever happens in the SaD Town elections next month, there’s another year of his silence for cash, before Sadgebore is itself devalued.
The mystery deepens with the emergence of elected unopposed to SaD Town Council illiberal Catty Staring. Living in Smalltown Haven near to Devalues, Staring is a significant illiberal hierarchy member alongside Squire Teflon and Mistress Bones.
It seems likely that Staring’s contribution to SaD Town Council for the next five years will be to follow Teflon & Bones’ lead, assuming that the happy couple are elected in Smalltown Posh.
