The list of candidates for election to Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Council has been released by Sadgebore District Council.
There will be no election in either the Dullbridge or Smalltown SAS wards as there were only enough candidates for the available seats, therefore the winners are:-

Barbara Windsor (BeFuddled)
Lord Charlie Spencer (BeFuddled)
There are three seats up for grabs in Smalltown Middle, where voters can choose between:-
Al Keep trying – (BeFuddled)
Mr Julia Slurry (Illiberal)
Banish Barracuda (BeFuddled)
Nicola Berry (BeFuddled)
Dick Trolley (Illiberal)
A further three seats are also to be contested in the Smalltown and Dullbridge Lumped Together Ward, where voters have to make a choice from four candidates, three of whom are Illiberals:-
Rob Candlestick maker (BeFuddled)
Prue Hairdresser (Illiberal)
Alan Incendiary (Illiberal)
Saul Synn (Illiberal)
However, it’s in Smalltown Posh where the battle will really take place, with 11 candidates vying for six seats.
The Illiberal Party are fielding a full sheet of candidates with Squire Teflon and his close-friend and employer Mistress Bones leading the charge.
The pair will have reinforcements in the misshape of current SaDTC councillors Mark Facelift, Julia Slurry, and Al deValues, together with a new signing – Phil Runforthe-Hills.
BeFuddled opposition in the ward will come from Jock McCads and Les Dullard, whilst the SADISTS (Smalltown and Dullbridge Independent Super Team) will be hoping to attract voters with their candidates Dotty Labore, Norman de Plume and Jon Fudgeface.
Voters are reminded that they have until April 14th to get their names on the electoral register.
