Councillors at the recent Smalltown and Dullbridge (SaD) Town Council Full Council meeting heard Dictator Dullard make the rare admission that she was ‘wrong’.
Addressing Councillors Dictator Dullard said “I am afraid that my ground-breaking idea to set up a Yoof Council in Smalltown and Dullbridge has failed.
I simply haven’t been able to interest enough of our young people to take part in the meetings, which were to take place at Queen Ethelred’s School during lunchtimes. It seems the majority of students would prefer to spend their time doing more exciting things, such as watching paint dry in the Common Room.
Therefore I propose we give up on the idea of a formal Yoof Council”
Having spent money and time setting up the Yoof Council, including providing ‘I love Dictator Dullard’ badges and mugs, it is believed that SaD TC will now go back to encouraging students to share their views by bribing them with doughnuts – an idea introduced by former Town Councillor, Fawn Fairy, when she tried to set up a Yoof Council in 2022.
