Fashion and Style

Personally I myself think fashion and style are very important. Even more so for an important Politichun Councillor who is always in the public eye.

When I myself joined the Smalltown and Dullbridge BeFuddled Party there were lots of people offering me personally fashion and style advice.

For example, Headmistress Dullard and Deputy Headmistress Cruella Sherry both said that if I want people to take me seriously as a Politichun Councillor then I should wear a flowery dress. They said they always wear flowery dresses because a flowery dress is a good cover-up for their Chairman Meow suits which they wear underneath.

But Former-Councillor Fencesitter took me aside after that first meeting and told me not to listen to them but to get myself a nice pair of beige slacks from Man About Smalltown and team them with a nice beige jumper. Former-Councillor Fencesitter says you can’t go wrong with beige.

Instead me myself and I decided to put my own personal stamp on the idea of Fashion and Style for Councillors. When my Mum isn’t too busy and can spare the time to bring me over from our home in a Fridgpond to attend SaD Town Council meetings I personally like to wear something brightly coloured. But not too brightly coloured because I don’t want to stand out in a crowd.

I also like to accessorise. You can’t go wrong with some good accessories. My favourite accessories is my mirrored sunglasses. I like to accessories with my mirrored sunglasses because I myself look really cool in them. My personal opinion is I personally look so cool in them that I even wear them when it is dark. This does make it difficult to see where I’m going and the other week my Mum said she’d pick me up in the Hayloft Road Palace car park after a meeting at Hayloft Road Palace. When I came out I turned right instead of left and found myself on Smalltown seafront instead. Luckily I had my phone with me and was able to summon the coastguard for help.

Another accessories which is really important is my backpack. My backpack makes me look very important. I myself never go anywhere without my backpack because it contains all my importance things like my crayons and my school books and the packed lunch my mum made for me in case I get hungry during a meeting and my spare pants. My mum says I should never go anywhere without a spare pair of pants and I always do what my mum tells me to. My mum says its very important to listen to your mum and I agree.

Sometimes Headmistress Dullard and Deputy Headmistress Sherry want me to do something which my mum doesn’t want me to. Last year my mum told me not to vote for the budget increase at the White Elephant Enclosure but Deputy Headmistress said I had to vote for it because I’m a member of the WEE Mismanagement Committee and it is important that I do what she tells me to this meant that I couldn’t vote at all because if I did vote I would get into trouble with my mum or Deputy Headmistress Sherry.

Aren’t I clever boy?

(Ed – for <expletive> sake. Who offered this <expletive> a work experience placement?

Emma – Um. You did Mr Editor, Sir. I think you were at the Blitz Club Cider Festival at the time. Anyway, Dictator Dullard has been on the phone. She wants to know if we will keep him for another week? She says they don’t want him back.

Ed – No. Absolutely NOT. Can’t we fob him off on Meda Tycoon Mike Maxman? Let him loose on that award winning website. )
