BeFuddled Party Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Councillor Captain Andy Rumm has announced that he has resigned his position with immediate effect.
Captain Rumm gained his seat in the Dullbridge award, where no election took place because there were only enough candidates for the available seats. Captain Rumm had never really wanted to be a Councillor, and only put his name forward because Former Councillor Fencesitter promised him that he wouldn’t get elected.
As a SaD Town Councillor, Captain Rumm served on the Town Unimprovements, and the Planning and Scheming Committees, where he made absolutely no impact whatsoever and failed to contribute anything to any discussion.
Headmistress, Mayor and Dictator Cllr Kelsey Dullard said “It has been good to work with Captain Morgan. His contributions to SaD Town Council have been perfect. He didn’t have anything to say but could always be relied upon to put his hand in the air to vote, whenever I told him to.
As such he will be sorely missed.”
Sources have claimed that Captain Morgan had told them privately that he could “no longer work with Dullard and Sherry. I’m fed up with being treated like a child.”
However when SomersetClive contacted Captain Rumm for a comment, he refused to talk to us and a source said “He’s not saying anything. Why break the habit of a lifetime?”
