The All-New-Yet-Unimproved Somerset Cuonty Council has this week installed hundreds of tin foil pyramids around the Smalltown Area Sports Hub (SASH) in an attempt to stop Time Travellers setting up camp.
This year has seen several incursions of Time Travellers in various places around Smalltown and Dullbridge and it is hoped that the new tin foil pyramids will distort the Time and Relative Dimension in Space Timewarp Continuum, preventing the Travellers from landing and instead send them spinning back to July 1685 where it is hoped they will lose the Battle of Sadgebore. Again.
SASH spokesperson, Mark HungerPang said “We are hoping that these tin foil pyramids will do the trick and finally rid of these Time Travellers for once and for all. It’s not just the Time Travellers that cause the problem, it’s all the hangers-on they bring with them.
Members of SASH are fed up with having to extricate Daleks from the ditches around the sports field. It’s not fair that we have to deal with all the old scrap metal and other junk these Time Travellers leave behind when they move on.”
