The doctor won’t see you now

Dullbridge Doctor Surgery will be holding an exciting Open Day for patients, giving people a chance to finally meet the staff.

A spokesperson said “We’ve given up on the idea of offering appointments to people registered with us, so instead we are running this Open Day to be able to prove to people that we do have staff.

A lucky few will be selected from the audience to be diagnosed live on stage and will then be advised to see a Pharmacist about their problem of symptoms persist.

We are hopeful that other people who attend the Open Day will have similar problems to those diagnosed and will also follow the advice to see a Pharmacist. In this way we hope to be able to slash the numbers of people who complain that they can’t get an appointment.

Please note there will be no doctors at this event, as we don’t have any. Patients will be diagnosed by either a member of our reception team or the cleaner.”

For many patients of Dullbridge Doctor Surgery this event could represent their first and last chance to get inside the building to see what goes on within. A particular highlight will be a chance to view the Prescription Black Hole, a natural phenomenon inside the surgery into which all repeat prescriptions disappear for two weeks.

The Open Day will take place next Tuesday between 1.00pm and 2.00pm when the surgery is closed for lunch.
