After two successful events held in Dullbridge this week, organisers of the Dullbridge CraftFoodDrinkCraft MarketFestival are hoping to make it a hat-trick.
Yesterday’s Scavenger Hunt, organised by the Friends of Pinnacle Park (FOPP) , saw over 294 entrants join in to find treasure in Pinnacle Park. Over 294 full black bags of treasure were handed in at the end of the event.
The same evening, community group Our Dullbridge teamed with WildlifeSomerset to bring a production of The Rabbit, The Grass and the Housing Estate to the town, with the theatrical performance taking part on the last piece of green land in the town.
The Crowd agreed that it had been a lovely, heartwarming story, even if the rabbit did get thrown out of his hutch by his landlord, so that it could be rented out to a Chernobyl-by-Sea worker.
Sunday will see Our Dullbridge hold their Dullbridge CraftFoodDrink MarketFestival in the Dullbridge Community Hall from 2pm.
Anyone wishing to attend the event by car is reminded that the All-New-Yet-Unimproved Somerset Cuonty Council do not charge for parking in the adjacent car park on a Sunday, so take advantage of that before they catch on.
