BEST day EVER

The Biggest Crowd headed to Dullbridge’s Pinnacle Park Play Away Day yesterday, with the under-12 element of the Crowd declaring it to be the ‘Best Day EVER’.

Chair of the Organising Committee, Daisy Carp said “It really was incredible, wasn’t it? I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many children having so much fun in Dullbridge.

I’m sure some of us can remember when Squire Teflon famously said of his close-friend and employer Mistress Bones’ World Record Breaking Olympic-Sized Swimming Pool and Ice Rink ‘It was worth it to see the smiles on the childrens’ faces’ but in this instance there really were lots of children and lots of smiles, so it was true.”

The children were able to take part in over 94 free activities, including mud-wrestling, white water rafting, sword swallowing, macrame, lion taming, tattooing, wing-walking, BASE jumping, swimming with sharks, stamp collecting, llama herding, extreme colouring in, running with bulls, chainsaw carving, fire walking and cross stitch.

Thanks were given to the Small Army of volunteers who had made the day possible, including the Smalltown Tigers Club and the Friends of Pinnacle Park.

An apology was also given to the people Dictator Dullard trampled underfoot in her quest to get to the front of the group photo opportunity. Somerset Ambulance Service later confirmed that three people had been taken to hospital following the melee, but none of their injuries are believed to be life-changing.
