The History Information Society – Smalltown (HISS) has launched a history competition for residents and visitors to Smalltown.
HISS President, Jan Popoff said “The competition will run during the summer holidays and will test peoples’ knowledge of everything Smalltown and Dullbridge (SaD) Town Council, Sadgebore District Council and the old Somerset Cuonty Council have ever done for Smalltown.”
A quiz sheet is available at just 10 pence from the Smalltown Office for the Beach (SOB) on Smalltown seafront which shows close-up photos of 15 features brought to Smalltown by the various Councils.

Participants are asked to look at the photos and identify what and where the feature was, with extra points awarded to anyone who can guess to the nearest day how long the feature lasted.
