The popular Smalltown Beer, Cider and Music Festival is back at the Blitz Social Club this weekend with lots of real ales and ciders for participants to sample.
Blitz Manager, Pale Ale told SomersetClive “I suppose you lot will be coming along again and demanding free beer in return for mentioning our beer, cider and music festival?
I’ve given your editor some vouchers, there should be enough for all of you to enjoy a free pint from our huge selection of real ales, or one of our ciders if you prefer.”
SomersetClive’s editor, Clive Saint said “Vouchers for a free pint each? I definitely haven’t seen any vouchers. By the way, do you think you could possibly put in a bit about what a popular event this is? Mr Ale is going to want to get his money’s worth in exchange for these vouchers. Which I definitely haven’t seen.”
The Blitz Beer, Cider and Music Festival is a hugely popular event and amongst the beers on offer will be Smalltown Brewery’s Hopping Mad, Badger’s Breath from a micro brewery in Dalstonbury and Feeling Frale, brewed to a secret recipe by monkeys. The cider selection includes Seecider, Snapple and Drunken Skunk, all produced at local farms in the Smalltown Area
There’s also a varied line up of musical acts, from loud on Friday night, slightly less rowdy on Saturday, easy listening on Sunday and a free for all on Monday.
