Smalltown and Dullbridge (SaD) Town Council has confirmed that a reward is to be offered for information leading to the recovery of Squire Teflon’s close-friend Mistress Bones’ World-record beating Olympic-Sized Ice Rink.
Smalltown Administration Guru (SAG) Katie Global said “We understand that SaDTC spent a vast sum of money on an ice rink a few years ago and we would like to hear from anyone who has any information which could lead to its return.
We believe that am ice rink would be the perfect addition to the Council chamber at the Hayloft Road Palace Retirement Home for Bemused and Bewildered BeFuddled Party ex-Teachers (and Others) as a lot of our recent meetings have been conducted on decidely dodgy ground, with decisions made that have seen us sailing very close to the wind with regard to the Local Government Act.
In order to strengthen our abilities we believe we need further practise as, if we are not careful, the thin ice we are currently skating on is going to crack and Councillors may well fall into the abyss.”
