After closing down two years ago, popular Glitchlin-starred cafe, the Fartful Codger is set to reopen again today.
Smalltown residents and visitors were devastated when the cafe, known affectionately as ‘Codgers’ closed its doors in May 2021, with many claiming that they would never be able to enjoy a good fry up ever again, so the news has been received with delight throughout Smalltown.
‘We are pleased to announce that we are reopening Codgers – the number one breakfast destination in Smalltown, because we know how much our customers have missed us” said Georgia Drool.
“Customers can expect a return of our popular no deviation and no swapping items menu. And we’ve got new tablecloths.”
Codgers will be open Wednesday to Saturday from 9.30am until 2pm and customers are advised that they are welcome to join me, Clive Saint, in the queue outside on the pavement during popular times.
