Mayor visits Dullbridge

Disgraced Smalltown and Dullbridge Headmistress and Mayor brushed off calls from Smalltown residents for her resignation for her duplicitous behaviour and tried instead to ingratiate herself with the people of Dullbridge.

Cllr Kelsey Dullard, accompanied by Cllr Not-Bothered and Cllr Captain Rum took part in a Special Walkabout on the Porland Estate, where they were joined by members of the Homes in Sadgebore team.

Cllr Dullard said “It was lovely to meet the team who are responsible for Council housing in Dullbridge. It was lovely to have a member of the Sadgebore Cleaner Streets there as well.

We raised a few concerns with them, which I won’t detail here because they weren’t very important and Council housing is nothing to do with Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Council anyway. I learnt a lot about what Homes in Sadgebore do – which just goes to show that you are never too old to learn something new.

I did ask about the possibility of fitting insulation and new roofs to the houses, but was told this had recently been done. The Council houses in Dullbridge are in better condition that houses in Fridgpond, which means houses in Fridgpond must be practically uninhabitable.

We didn’t meet any of the tenants during our Special Walkabout, because I much prefer not to tell anyone about meetings I’m holding. Besides, I don’t really like poor people.

It was lovely to take part in this Special Walkabout, particularly as it involved visiting a part if Dullbridge I didn’t know existed. Although to be fair, in common with other members of SaD Town Council, I’ve only recently learnt of the existence of Dullbridge.

I had a lovely time.”

Porland Estate residents later expressed their disappointment at not seeing the Mayor on her Special Walkabout, with one telling us “I wish I’d known. It would have been worth spending time and money sourcing tomatoes to share with her.”
