A seal was sadly found deceased on Bream beach on Saturday.
Sadgebore’s beachwarden found the mammal on the tideline between Bream and Barrow, and confirmed “It was terribly sad, the seal looked very depressed, it was almost as if it couldn’t go on with life and took the easy way out.”
A note found clutched in the poor creature’s paw read “I can’t take any more of that woman singing to me. Will someone please make her stop?”
A spokeswalrus for Sealife Emergency Action Liaison said “We’ve seen a few of these cases recently with several dead seals being washed up around the British coastline. We believe the source of the problem may centre around Montecito in California.”
