Hi! Tachi opens in Smalltown

Tescoes has announced that a branch of the popular Hi! Tachi food outlet has opened in Smalltown.

A spokescan for Tescoes said “With the energy price hikes due to hit hard it became apparent to us that we needed to do something to help our customers. Hi! Tachi produce food that doesn’t need to be cooked, so we believe that offering raw food is the future.

These products can be eaten straight from the packet and don’t require the use of an oven, so although they are pricier to begin with, in the long run money can be saved on energy bills.”

Potential customers in Smalltown were nonplussed. We spotted potential customer Mr John Dory browsing the selection on display and asked him for his thoughts, he told us “I like a bit of fish on a Friday, but I’m not going to eat it raw. No thank you.”

His thoughts were echoed by Mrs Xena Phobe “My husband didn’t fight in two World Wars for us to have eat uncooked foreign food. I’m not putting that in my trolley.”
