Following agreement at the last Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Council meeting a Drop-out meeting will be held at Smalltown Library so that residents can meet Councillors and discuss items on the agenda for the next Town Council Committee meeting.
The meeting will take place today between 10.30am to 12.30am and a Town Council spokesperson said “We’ve tried to keep this meeting as secret as possible, by not releasing details to the press or public. We have included a basic notice on our website, but nobody really looks at that so we are really hoping that no one turns up.
The last thing any Councillor really wants to do is talk about the things that affect residents. Hopefully most of them will be at work anyway, so we can enjoy lovely cups of tea in peace, whilst chatting amongst ourselves.”
Any resident who would like to get involved is asked not to bother.
