Sadgebore confirm closure

Sadgebore District Council have confirmed that the public conveniences in Smalltown will be closed on Monday 19th September as a mark of respect for Queen Victoria II’s funeral.

Blair Stagg, spokesperson for Sadegbore said “This funeral really is a blessing in disguise. We’ve made the decision to close all the toilets in the Sadgebore area and will save a packet on cleaning costs

We understand that some people may be upset by the lack of opportunities to relieve themselves, but I would say ‘What are you doing outside? You should be indoors at home watching the television, not gadding about having fun.”

SomersetClive understands that the closure has had a knock on affect at the Witherspoons Willow Arms pub, which will also close on Monday, as the regulars often pop across the road to make use of the toilets because they are more accessible than the actual pub toilets.
