A brief message on the Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Council website advises that the Planning and Scheming Committee meeting scheduled to be held at the Hayloft Road Palace Retirement Home for Bemused and Bewildered BeFuddled Party Ex-Teachers (and Others) tomorrow night has been cancelled.
Self-appointed Planning and Scheming Clerk, Ellen Surly said “The only items open for discussion were a couple of small extensions and a garage conversion. Nothing too taxing or worthy of comment, so I’ve made the decusion to cancel the scheduled meeting and add these applications to the agenda for the next meeting instead.
To be honest, I don’t know why we even bother having Planning and Scheming meetings in the first place The big-wigs at Sadgebore who make the actual decisions never listen to our opinions anyway.”
