Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Councillors recently welcomed the first in what looks to be a long line of new staff members to the Hayloft Road Palace Retirement Home for Bemused and Bewildered BeFuddled Party Ex-Teachers (and Others).
Katie Global, the Smalltown New Administration Guru (SNAG), started in her role in early August and attended the SaD Town Council Planning and Scheming Committee meeting last week to meet the councillors.
Katie currently lives in Sherwood Forest and will be travelling to Smalltown once or twice a week to help SaDTC steal from the poor to give to the rich. Previously Katie was employed by the Sheriff of Wareingham Town Council where she helped collect taxes from residents for several years.
So far Katie has spent her first days holed up in the Hayloft Road staffroom with Headmistress and Town Mayor, Cllr Kelsey Dullard.
“It’s been lovely to be able to spend time enjoying lovely cups of tea and slices of cake with Katie” said Cllr Dullard, “We’ve been working really hard together marking homework and writing reports. Katie has done quite well and I look forward to working with her in the future.”
SomersetClive joins the Headmistress and staff members in welcoming Katie to Smalltown and hopes that one of her first jobs will be to sort out the current SaDTC communication issues, starting with the website, which is in dire need of updates, as well as teaching the current Councillors how to access their emails.
