Whistle-stop tour continues

Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Mayor, Kelsey Dullard, took time out from her busy schedule of visits to visit the Smalltown Area Youth Centre, which has been taken over by a variety of groups of older people and no longer offers anything for the youth of the area.

I’m taking the time to visit the various lovely groups and organisations in Smalltown, so that I can familiarise myself with what goes on and enjoy a nice cup of tea in different settings.” Cllr Dullard told SomersetClive. “In the few months that I’ve been Mayor I’ve already attended more events and visited more groups than the previous Town Mayor, professional Councillor Mark Facelift, did during his own tenure, but then it was a long way for him to travel from his home town of Fridgpond.”

Speaking from Fridgpond, Cllr Facelift countered “I didn’t need to visit all the groups in Smalltown or Dullbridge, because I’ve been a professional Councillor for so long that I already knew they existed. Besides, when you get to my age, all those cups of tea can become a bit of a problem on the long drive home again.”

Cllr. Dullard will be continuing her World Tour of Smalltown and Dullbridge and can be expected to be appearing at a venue near you shortly. Ready the tea bags.
