Fundraising fun

Smalltown Small People’s School has begun fundraising to raise money for a new defibrillator which will be placed in the school grounds.

A variety of fund raising activities are planned, including cake sales (no FREE cake) and a School Fete which was held last week.

Headmistress Hedda d’Class said “We are raising funds to replace the non-existent defibrillator which wasn’t purchased with money raised over the years by the Smalltown and Dullbridge Duplicated Events Team (SaDDEST) at the annual Mistress Jones’ Jamboree and Fate worse than Death.”

The cost of the defibrillator is a very reasonable £940, which begs the question – exactly what did happen to all the money SaDDEST ‘raised’ from the ice rink and Jamboree events, with which they promised to purchase life-saving equipment?
