Genuine crowds of people (and not just a handful as is common with events organised by the Smalltown Shops (SS) group), will throng the streets of Smalltown on Saturday as the eagerly awaited World-famous Smalltown Cheese Festival returns to the town.
The event, now in its tenth year and with this the 94th time it has been held in Smalltown, will once again see a wide variety of cheese available to buy.
Organiser Margo Farmhouse-Kitchener told us “We don’t need to resort to Briebing people to attend with FREE cake, because everyone knows our events our Gouda. Cheese is where it’s at! You’d have to be crackers to miss this one.”
Co-organiser, Felicity Farmhouse-Kitchener squeaked “Our Cheese Festival is always Grate – we are Feta at organising events than any other organisers in Smalltown. So Yarg, Blue, sucks to you, Lady Brassy and Mistress Bones!”
For those who don’t like cheese, and in a break from tradition, the organisers have confirmed that there will be several cake producers included in the line-up, including Smalltown’s very own cake-maker BusiBakes.
However, the cake WON’T be FREE.
Thanks for the warning. I’ll give the town a wide berth. I don’t want Covid again
