‘Mysterious’ Fire strikes Smalltown shop

Fire and ambulance services were called to Smalltown on Sunday after a fire broke out in a shop premises.

The PhotoShop Shop, owned by local Councillor Dick Trolley, sustained substantial damage during the blaze, which saw a large amount of paperwork consumed by the flames.

Coincidentally, SomersetClive had recently been conducting an in-depth look into the mystery surrounding the missing Smalltown Sign (which we must never talk about again), with Councillor Trolley found to have been the only consistent factor in the decision-making process.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined but initial reports that Squire Teflon had been spotted in the area clutching a can of petrol and box of matches have been dismissed after he told investigators “My penthouse apartment is nearby and I was organising a barbecue with my close-friend Mistress Bones after a successful day of election campaigning.

Besides, I’m not responsible for Trolley’s filing system. I get rid of my own incriminating paperwork on a weekly basis.”
