Smalltown’s Squire Teflon has been the subject of an attack on a local social media group, after a resident posted a humorous ‘meme’. The meme was posted to the Smalltown News and Views group and was a simple graphic about lies, but it led to a lively debate amongst residents.

An AceCrook user commented “Leave him alone, there was no other candidate who would of dealt with brexit and the pandemic in their term!!!!!”

A group member disagreed “How can anyone possibly defend a corrupt, dictatorial, self serving, serial liar?”

And another added “Absolutely, I don’t know how much more this vile person can do to show his true colours and still have people defend him? If he stood there and said ‘I’m a serial, corrupt liar, whose only interests have ever been to line my friends pockets, here is the proof (shows all the leaks and credible news stories for the last few years)’ there would still be people defending him, his shambles of a government and worse, continuing to vote for the self serving narcissists! How can people be so damned stupid?”
