Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Council are asking residents to send in their nominations for the Community Champion Citizen Citations.
The Citations are awarded to local people who have contributed to the community in some way, this could include people who have made an outstanding contribution to Smalltown and Dullbridge by
- doing your shopping for you,
- helping to fundraise for local charities and community groups or their own cause,
- hiring the White Elephant Enclosure,
- organising events such as the Smalltown Jamboree or Ignite Smalltown
SaD Mayor, Mark Facelift, said “I’m greatly looking forward to awarding this year’s certificates to the Community Champion Citizens at the Citation Celebration Ceremony which will be held at the White Elephant Enclosure (date to be confirmed). I love a good party. Not that it will be a party, unless there are no restrictions in place.”
“Nominations should be made on a postcard and contain your full name and address, the full name and address of the person you are nominating and a minimum of 100 words giving the reasons why you have nominated this person.”
