At the White Elephant Enclosure.

A SomersetClive review.

SomersetClive took their seat in the WEE to watch the latest in a long line of tribute bands booked to perform.

This time it was the turn of Fake That and tickets had sold well. At least 22 people had coughed up more money than it would have cost to see the real band back in their heyday.

Changed from a ‘standing event’ to being ‘all seated’ in a last minute move to make the venue look fuller by filling the empty space with seats, the audience of mostly pensioners (several of whom told SomersetClive that they only came in to use the lavatory, because they couldn’t find one in the town centre) showed their appreciation by removing their hearing-aids.

A spokesperson for Smalltown and Dullbridge Town Council later hailed the event as a “Great success”.
