Founder, Director, CEO and legend in his own bedroom, Levi Smeller, has spoken out about his devastation after Smalltown and Dullbridge (SaD) Town Council rejected a request to pay for his Smalltown Pride – a Unique New Concept (SPUNC) event.
“Hi guys. I bring sad news today. I am utterly devastated because SaDTC has turned down my offer to let them give me lots of money so that I can bring SPUNC to Smalltown. I have spent several hours alone in my bedroom planning this event and to now find out that I’m expected to pay for it as well is soul-destroying. This decision really demonstrates how out of touch the Councillors are. They hate the LGBTQXYZ+ community.”
During the Town Council Finance and Misappropriation meeting Squire Teflon suggested that the Council should seek a meeting with the group to seek further clarification about the event and said “Personally I love this sort of event, it’s a great excuse to put on a dress and party, but this SPUNC is scheduled to take place on the same day as Toytown Pride so the timing seems a little strange.”
Levi retorted “It’s hard enough being the only gay in Smalltown – where am I going to find a group of like-minded people prepared to work with me at this short notice? I had great plans to take hundreds of selfies and plaster them all over AceCrook. I was even going to give myself another award. I’m not going to be able to afford to buy one from Amazing now that I’m expected to pay all the costs.”
SaDTC has confirmed that they are willing to work with Levi to help relieve the pressure with his SPUNC.
